Kia Forte: Parking Assist Sensor Removal

Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Body Electrical System / Parking Assist System / Parking Assist Sensor Removal

[Front Bumper]

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the front bumper cover. (Refer to Body - "Front Bumper Cover")

3.	Disconnect the connector (A) from the ultrasonic sensor.

4.	Pull out the sensor (A) by opening the sensor holder (B) out.

[Rear Bumper]

1.	Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.

2.	Remove the rear bumper cover. (Refer to Body - "Rear Bumper Cover")

3.	Disconnect the connector (A) from the ultrasonic sensor.

4.	Pull out the sensor (A) by opening the sensor holder (B) out.
