Kia Forte: Shift Cable Adjustment

Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Automatic Transaxle System / Automatic Transaxle Control System / Shift Cable Adjustment

1.	Place the shift lever in the interior, and the transmission manual control lever, to the N position.

2.	Connect the shift lever (B) in the interior with the shift cable (A).

3.	Lightly push the shift cable towards "F" to tighten the cable.

4.

Tighten the nut (A) to the specified torque.

Tightening torque:

9.8 ~ 14.7 N.m (1.0 ~ 1.4 kgf.m, 7.2 ~ 10.8 lb-ft)
