Kia Forte: Replacement

Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Body (Interior and Exterior) / Floor Carpet / Replacement

•	Put on gloves to protect your hands.

•	When prying with a flat-tip screwdriver, wrap it with protective tape, and apply protective tape around the related parts, to prevent damage.

•	Use a plastic panel removal tool to remove interior trim pieces to protect from marring the surface.

•	Take care not to bend or scratch the trim and panels.

1.	Remove the front seat assembly. (Refer to Front Seat - "Front Seat Assembly")

2.	Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Floor Console - "Floor Console Assembly")

3.	Remove the cowl side trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Cowl Side Trim")

4.	Remove the center pillar lower trim. (Refer to Interior Trim - "Center Pillar Trim")

5.	Remove the rear seat cushion assembly. (Refer to Rear Seat - "Rear Seat Assembly")

6.	Remove the foot rest (A).

7.	Remove the floor carpet assembly (B).

8.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

•	Replace any damaged clips.

4. Fire extinguisher bracket
5. Fire extinguisher
