Remove the cowl top cover.
(Refer to "Cowl Top Cover")

Remove the front wiper motor.
(Refer to Body Electrical System - "Front Wiper Motor")

3. |
Remove the main crash pad assembly.
(Refer to Crash Pad - "Main Crash Pad Assembly")
|
4. |
Disconnect the steering column connectors.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Column and Shaft")
|
5. |
Lower the steering column after loosening the mounting bolts.
(Refer to Steering System - "Steering Column and Shaft")
|
6. |
Disconnect the blower unit connectors.
|
7. |
After loosening the mounting nut, then remove the console duct
(A).
|
8. |
Disconnect the passenger compartment junction box connectors (A).
|
9. |
Disconnect the multi box connectors (A).

Disconnect the airbag control module (SRSCM) connector (A).
|
11. |
Remove the wirering mounting clips (A).
|
12. |
Disconnect the shift lever connector (B).
|
13. |
Disconnect the connectors (A) and the mounting clips in the front
pillar.

Disconnect the smart key unit connectors (A).
|
15. |
Loosen the smart key unit mounting screw (B).
|
16. |
Remove the photo sensor wirering mounting clips (A).
|
17. |
After loosening the mounting bolts and nuts, then remove the cowl
cross bar assembly (A).

18. |
Install in the reverse order of removal.
