Kia Forte: Inspection
If any of the following conditions occur, WCS reset and accuracy check
should be performed.

The WCS ECU or any of the sensors is replaced.

| • |
The vehicle is brought to the repair shop due to an accident or
a crash even though the severity seems to be minor.
|
| • |
The telltale lamp is not illuminated when thepassenger seat is
not occupied.
|
| • |
The telltale lamp is delayed more than 10 seconds to be turned
off when an adult passenger seats in.
|
| • |
The passenger seat is removed from the vehicle and reassembled.
|
| • |
Any accessories (side table, seatback table and seat cover, etc)
are replaced or installed.
|
| • |
The passenger seat is interference with the folded rear seat.
|
If Same problems is continued, WCS must be replaced after WCS Reset and
accuracy check.
