Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Restraint / SRSCM / Weight Classification System (WCS) / Inspection

If any of the following conditions occur, WCS reset and accuracy check should be performed.
•
The WCS ECU or any of the sensors is replaced.
•
The vehicle is brought to the repair shop due to an accident or a crash even though the severity seems to be minor.
•
The telltale lamp is not illuminated when thepassenger seat is not occupied.
•
The telltale lamp is delayed more than 10 seconds to be turned off when an adult passenger seats in.
•
The passenger seat is removed from the vehicle and reassembled.
•
Any accessories (side table, seatback table and seat cover, etc) are replaced or installed.
•
The passenger seat is interference with the folded rear seat.
If Same problems is continued, WCS must be replaced after WCS Reset and accuracy check.
