Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Engine Mechanical System / Timing System / Front Oil Seal Replacement

1.
Remove the crankshaft damper pulley.
(Refer to Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")
2.
Remove the front oil seal (A).
3.
Apply engine oil on the edge of new oil seal.
  
Remove any debris from the lip portion of the oil seal.
4.
Using the SST (09231-2E000), install a front oil seal (A).

  
Do not reuse the front oil seal.
5.
Install the crankshaft damper pulley.
(Refer to Timing System - "Crankshaft Damper Pulley")
