Kia Forte: Shift Lever Removal

Second generation YD (2014-2018) / Kia Forte TD 2014-2018 Service Manual / Automatic Transaxle System / Automatic Transaxle Control System / Shift Lever Removal

1.	Remove the floor console assembly. (Refer to Body - "Floor Console")

2.	Remove the air duct.

3.	Disconnect the control cable (A).

4.	Disconnect the connector (A).

5.	Disconnect the wire mounting clips (B).

6.

Remove the bolts and then shift lever assembly (A).

Tightening torque:

8.8 ~ 13.7N.m(0.9 ~ 1.4kgf.m, 6.5 ~ 10.1lb-ft)
